2. What Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it — for example, when you submit an enquiry through our website form. This may include:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Company or organisation name
• Your message or enquiry details

We do not collect any data automatically beyond standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited) which are retained for security purposes only.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you submit is used solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry or request
• Provide information about our products and services relevant to your query
• Follow up if you have consented to being contacted

We do not use your data for automated profiling, unsolicited marketing, or any purpose beyond the above without your explicit consent.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We use the following third-party service to process enquiry form submissions:

• Formspree (formspree.io) — processes form submissions and delivers them to our inbox. Formspree's own privacy policy applies to data in transit through their service.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our business or users.

5. Data Retention

Enquiry data is retained in our email inbox for as long as needed to respond to and fulfil your request, and no longer than 2 years unless a business relationship requires otherwise. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Data Security

All data transmitted through our website is protected by HTTPS encryption. Enquiry data is delivered to a secured business email account. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss of your data.

7. Your Rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts. No cookie consent banner is required.

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Mobile Application (Parvekshak App)

The Parvekshak Android application ("the App") is used to monitor and manage AI-powered surveillance cameras. In addition to the data practices described above, the following applies specifically to the App:

11.1 Permissions Used

• Camera — accessed only when you are actively viewing or configuring a camera feed within the App. The App does not record or capture footage in the background.
• Internet access — required to connect to your surveillance system, stream live video feeds, and receive alerts.
• Push notifications — Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is used to deliver security alerts and event notifications to your device. Only a device-level push token is shared with Firebase; no personal data is stored by FCM.
• Local storage — the App stores your login credentials, server configuration, and user preferences locally on your device using Android's secure shared preferences. This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with your own configured server.

11.2 Video & Surveillance Data

Live video streams and event snapshots (photos) are transmitted between your device and your configured surveillance server over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/WSS).

In certain network configurations — for example, when your surveillance server is behind NAT or a firewall — streams may be relayed through Parvekshak-operated routing infrastructure to establish connectivity. In such cases:

• Video and photo data passes through our relay servers in transit only and is not stored, logged, or retained by Parvekshak.
• All data is encrypted in transit and the relay infrastructure cannot decrypt or access the content of the stream.
• This data is processed ephemerally — it exists only in memory for the duration of the active session and is never written to disk.

Parvekshak does not use surveillance footage or snapshots for any purpose beyond facilitating the connection. You are solely responsible for the lawful use of surveillance equipment and footage in accordance with applicable laws.

11.3 Relay Server API Logs

When connections are routed through Parvekshak relay infrastructure, our servers automatically generate standard API access logs. These logs may include:

• Timestamp of the request
• API endpoint accessed
• HTTP response status code
• Source IP address
• User or session identifier (derived from the authentication token) used to route the request

These logs are used solely for:

• Security monitoring and fraud prevention
• Diagnosing connectivity issues
• Maintaining service reliability

API logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days and are then automatically deleted. They are not shared with any third party and are not used for advertising or profiling.

11.5 Account & Authentication Data

Login credentials (username, password, server address) are stored locally on your device. They are transmitted only to your own server for authentication and are never sent to Parvekshak's servers.

11.6 Third-Party SDKs in the App

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — used for push notifications. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

11.7 Data Not Collected by the App

The App does not collect location data, contacts, microphone audio, device identifiers, or any analytics or usage data.
